PSOs of LoK Sabha contesting candidate resorts to aerial firing | KNO

Poonch, March 31 (KNO) : Personal security officials (PSOs) deputed with Zeeshan Sayeed, Lok Sabha election candidate for Jammu-Poonch resorted to aerial firing near Surankote after verbal brawl broke out between them and passengers there. Sources told KNO correspondent contesting candidate was moving from Surankote to Poonch in the form of a road rally when verbal duel erupted between the supporters of the candidate and passengers travelling in a bus. Verbal duel erupted over the issue of safe passage and situation took ugly turn when scuffle also broke out after which personal security officials of the contesting candidate fired in air to bring situation under control."Soon, teams of police from Surankote reached on the spot and pacified the situation after which both sides were taken to police station," reports reaching KNO said. SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral told KNO that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in police station Surankote and investigation is going on.(KNO)
